Below are lovely pictures from the presentation of a Range Rover 2016 SUV Peter Okoye aka Mr P gave to his wife, Lola Omotayo-Okoye.
The event kicked off with the car being decorated after it was brought in by Peter Okoye on a rainy afternoon. All of that happened without the knowledge of his wife who was away at work. Few minutes later, guests started arriving and they all made sure they kept mum about the surprise package.
Around 3pm when the rain stopped, Peter Okoye went live on Instagram to announce to his fans that he is about surprising his wife. He showed them the decorated ride and told them to start tagging his wife to let her know her husband has a surprise for her.
Immediately, Lola Omotayo-Okoye started getting tags on Instagram, but unfortunately she wasn’t online at that moment. Her husband had to call her to tell her that she should check his last post on Instagram. He then told her that she should head home immediately she sees the post. He also told her to take a bike if the Lagos traffic was going to delay her. All of these he did while live on Instagram and also in the presence of his friends and guests who were joyously anticipating to see Lola.
About 30 minutes later, excited Lola Omotayo-Okoye showed up amidst a loud cheer of joy from the crowd who have been anxious to see the expression on her face.
Nollywood actress, Kate Henshaw, who was among the guests, welcomed her and led her to the vehicle which had lovely decorations on it. Without hesitation, the woman of the moment hopped into her latest Range Rover and started the engine in the presence of her father whom Peter Okoye prostrated flat on the wet ground before.
Speaking in an interview culled from Wotzup ONTV, Lola who struggled to catch her breathe revealed how excited she felt receiving the Range Rover gift from her husband, Mr P.
”Well, I’m really… I’m super excited. I can’t really even… I’m really shy, so don’t take my shyness for not being surprised. I’m surprised and really, really excited. I can’t believe it,” Lola Omotayo-Okoye said.
When asked about what could have motivated her husband to carry out this wonderful gesture, Lola emphatically said: ”All my hard work na, all these years. I deserve it (laughs happily).”
She later appreciate her husband with some lovely words and a special kiss in the full glare of family and friends who were excitedly cheering them on.
”Peter, I love you every, very much. I’m so, so grateful for this… I’m shocked. Thank you so much, I really appreciate this,” she said.
