Popular actress, Kemi Afolabi turned 42 on Tuesday, April 28, and she marked it by sharing a very beautiful photo of herself on Instagram for her fans.
Of course she got several shout outs and messages from her colleagues in the industry and fans as well but one of the PDAs stood out the most and it was from her rumoured lover boy and younger actor, Gida Sulaimon.
Kemi Filani News recalls that Kemi Afolabi who is married with a daughter, got into a fight with one Gloria Johnson over actor, Dauda Sulaimon a.k.a Gida, late last year. The rumored affair between the actors leaked after Kemi Afolabi cried out over receiving death threats from the Gloria Johnson.
However reacting to Kemi’s allegation, Nollywood actress Amarachi Igwe who is a friend of Gloria Johnson, wrote “Kemi you’re claiming to be innocent, why are u so useless ? A married woman for that matter, posting cos of someone you’re far older,,,, I bet u don’t want to see the other side of me ,what will you gain from all of this, calling my gf out on social media, I bet they don’t know you’re doing all this cos of gida…… pitied the man that made you a mother,,,, you’re a shame to womanhood,,,,,, blocking me won’t stop me from calling you out same way u are calling my friend out, old fool“
Interestingly both Kemi Afolabi and the man in question, Gida failed to respond to the allegations till yesterday!
Gida in his birthday PDA yesterday, posted a video of the different photos of the actress with a background eulogy in yoruba popularly known as ‘Ewi’ in her honor.
The video had a caption that reads
“Happy birthday 💥…You’re the greatest star that I have seen. May your brightness be more radiant each passing day. Happy birthday to you Ajike And I wish you long life and prosperity in good health and abundant wealth”
And in response, the celebrant, Kemi Afolabi who was blown away with the birthday surprise wrote “Oh my😳 wow wow wow😊 honestly I appreciate this Gomina @gidabless thank you my darling🙏 this made me smile😊”
Recall that about 2 years ago, the 41 year old shared pictures of her husband and daughter with the below message she posted on her Instagram page.
In her words ”To my amazing, ever supportive husband and adorable daughter??? A bigger thank you to you both for understanding my busy schedules always and having you deal with my excesses….you two are the bestest thing that has happened to me in this life! You’re the reason I am living with my shoulders high, I cannot exactly put in words how much I love and appreciate you. May death never separate the LOVE that binds us together ???”.
