Dutch footballer Memphis has sparked a lot of reactions as he recently called Davido the giant of Africa.
In a speech which he gave on his birthday which emerged online, he hailed Davido as he revealed that Davido is the only real giant of Africa.
Netizens believe that this was a clear shade thrown at Afrobeat artist, Burna Boy who is noted for his giant of African slogan.
Now also recall that a few days ago Davido had come online to gush about how grateful he was after Memphis had gifted him a Rolex watch.
He had further revealed how nobody had ever gifted him anything in his life and that he is always used to gifting people instead of people gifting him.
However, netizens did not take lightly to this statement as they took to social media to slam him. They recounted how in previous years, celebrities and netizens alike had rallied around to donate money for his birthday with the money exceeding a whopping 100 million Naira.
Also recall that two days ago, Davido had lamented over his choice of career as he expressed that footballers where enjoying. He lamented on how he might have chosen the wrong profession.
