The recent posts from everyone close to Davido appear to speak of ongoing drama which is quite difficult to pin on anything in particular.
It started after Davido’s second baby mama, Amanda, revealed that she might one day run away with her daughter and never come back again.
Her words somehow synced with Davido’s first baby mama, Sophie Momodu, who advised that young mothers shouldn’t pass their fears and trauma onto their daughters.
Sophie Momodu shared:
“Not typically one for long captions however a lot of ladies have been writing me & I thought I’d share my thoughts on my 45min boat ride to the airport. * Self love is a continuous journey.. make it a point to love yourself a little harder with each waking day. * To my African sisters because the world is harder on us than anyone else, our cultures & traditions make us unique but never let it imprison you.. listen to your mother’s advice but bare in mind that your parents will be talking to you about a time that no longer exists.. & like a wise woman once told me you can’t heal new wounds with old medicine * To young mothers try everything you can to not project your personal trauma’s & fears onto your daughters instead teach them early the things that you wish you had known earlier. * Never put your happiness in the hands of another human being because human beings are fickle. No one is gonna save you but YOU. Love & Light TSM”
Davido came with his own message which appears dramatic as well:
“Make that call . Send that text. Forgive that person . Tell them you miss them . Let go of that Grudge . Show more kindness . Dont take it for granted because tomorrow isn’t promised”.
His fiancee, Chioma, didn’t fail to add to the drama brewing among all those close to Davido.
She wrote: “Don’t tell me you love me, show me you love me. I’m not watching anybody’s words anymore … if you fucc with me & care about me imma be able to tell … and if you don’t, it is what it is.”
