Taking the drama mantle from Toyin, who is actively steering clear of drama this season, Mariam seems to have forged a pact with trouble, bringing chaos wherever she goes.
A notable clash between Mariam Timmer and Faith Morey over a seemingly trivial matter unfolded in a previous episode, escalating to involve Laura and now targeting Chioma Ikokwu. Mariam’s drama compass is now fixated on Chioma, earning her a reputation as a troublemaker. At Tania’s party, Mariam wasted no time, initiating a quarrel within 30 minutes of her arrival as predicted by other housewives.
In episode 8, the tension peaks as Mariam engages in a verbal clash with Chioma Ikokwu, picking up from where they left off at Tania’s party. During the quarell, Mariam gives Chioma a low blow by mocking her childlessness. The irony lies in Mariam’s own pursuit of a second child by all means even through IVF, making her critique of another woman’s fertility status particularly harsh. The question arises: is Mariam Timmer becoming the new queen of conflict and drama?
Meanwhile, Faith Morey’s party exudes luxury and enjoyment, with a sophisticated crowd in attendance. Some housewives, however, displayed petty behaviors, arriving late with negative opinions that the party was boring while expecting personal greetings from Faith exuding an entitlement sentiment, after all, nothing stopped them from going to hang out with the celebrant like Toyin did. Despite the drama in this episode, Faith Morey’s party stood out as a top-notch event. Also, it might be time for Mariam Timmer to pause and reconsider her approach, as drama seems to precede her every move.
