Last night, Governor Babajide Sanwo Olu, warmed hearts and sent the congregation into an excitement mood after reciting a Bible scripture and leading some prayers at the gospel concert, The experience 2019 edition, which held at the Tafawa Balewa square, Lagos.
While being called to give his speech while the concert was ongoing, he made a reference to John 4:23 in the Bible “Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in the Spirit and in truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks…..I can say to you clearly that God will answer all of our praises and worship tonight and we will not go empty handed…the land of Lagos state will be blessed with your possession and you will receive goodness being a citizen of Lagos state…not only this year but in the years ahead….Because you have not honored God today by being part of this worship, things of worship will not cease in your life…”

This year’s experience has a roster of award-winning Nigerian and international gospel artistes such as Travis Greene, Sinach, Nathaniel Bassey, Don Moen, Donnie McClurkin, Tope Alabi, Planetshakers, Chioma Jesus, Eben, , Sammie Okposo, The Lagos Metropolitan Gospel Choir including newcomers to The Experience stage – Todd Dulaney, Mercy Chinwo and Preye Odede.
