Davido and Wizkid have slammed a troll after he tried to resurrect a beef both artiste already buried since last year. In a tweet, he reacted to a picture posted by Davido which shows him and Wizkid performing together on stage. Davido tweeted the picture to celebrate his new friendship with Wizzy; he captioned it: ”Living. Loving. Laughing”.
Finding it absurd that the OBO is goofing around while Wizkid is about to drop another single which will probably be a hit, he replied to the artiste’s tweet, perhaps in an attempt to wake him up from a supposed slumber. He said,
“Be living, loving and laughing while @wizkidayo drops another hit on Monday by 1PM Nigerian time!”
Sensing that the troll was trying to drag back into the time he had a beef with Wizkid, Davido replied,
“Lmao baba go and sleep this is so last year .. and yea I’m sure the world knows by now say me I no get problem wen it comes to HITS! “
To proof that both singers have truly gone past the level of throwing shades at each other and seeing one another as rivals, Wizkid replied Davido’s tweet by telling him to ignore such trolls. He said, “forget dem Obo!”.
Both artistes have been in good terms since last year December when they finally squashed their beef and hugged each other on stage at their Lagos concerts with Davido calling Wizzy his new best friend. Recently, both artistes stepped on stage to perform Wizkid’s hit song ‘manya’ at Davido’s 30 billion UK concert. Wizzy’s stepping on stage sent the already hyped crowd into a mad frenzy as he proceeded to throw some shaku shaku dance moves.
