Comedienne Claire Edun aka Oyinbo Princess has announced her marriage crash.
Today would have been her 6th wedding anniversary with her estranged Nigerian husband, Olumide Edun, had it been they didn’t go their separate ways.
According to the Nollywood actress and entertainer, the union was one of those things that wasn’t destined to last forever.
Oyinbo Princess however said she would now channel her concentration towards being happy and developing her talent. She shared a picture of herself and the Nigerian husband whose face she covered with heartbreak emojis and captioned it:
”In life not everything is destined to last for-ever. My husband and I have been seperated for some time now and have both started moving on. Happiness is key to feeling content and if it is lost then change needs to happen, it’s literally as simple as that #OyinboPrincessSaysSo #OgaMa”.
In an interview she had in 2015, she spoke of how there was no regret about her marrying a Nigerian cos she enjoyed the spark the different cultures bring.
”I do not regret marrying a Nigerian. I like the spark which comes from being in a biracial relationship and enjoy learning things different from what I may be used to. I married the man I love and would not want it any other way”, she said.
