A member of Nigerian music duo, Skuki, has spoken concerning how he believes the relationship called marriage should be practiced. According to him, people need to preach more on men loving their wives as much as it is always emphasized on for women to be submissive to their husbands.
He wrote on Instagram:
”Where did the idea of women being SUBMISSIVE come from? Answer: The Bible (Ephesians 5:22)
Doesn’t the same Bible say ‘Husbands should love their wives, just like Christ loved the church…? Answer: It totally does (Ephesians 5:25)
Do we preach the Bible message for husbands as much as we preach the one for wives? Answer: NO
Even though the message about submissiveness is spoken about so often, ARE GIRLS OF TODAY SUBMISSIVE? Answer: Not really
What about the guys, DO MEN OF TODAY LOVE THEIR WOMAN AS CHRIST LOVED US?
Answer: NO!
