Some Nigerian youths recently took to the streets in support of Fela Durotoye who is running for political office come 2019.
The march which started from the University of Lagos, moved to Yaba College of Education and down to Ojuelegba and its environs had youths putting on branded T-shirts and placards saying Fela for president 2019.
According to them, the elders who have been running the affairs of the nation have done enough as the country is not getting any better due to corrupt practices. They believe things will be different if young Nigerians are allowed to run the affairs of the nation.
Fela Durotoye is not the only young person to announce his ambitions for 2019. Sahara reporters owner, Omoyele Sowere has also made his intentions known concerning the 2019 elections. The both of them will now be running against former vice president, Atiku Abubakar and incumbent president, Muhammadu Buhari, if they all eventually make it to the elections.
