Former Minister of Education and BBOG convener, Obiageli Ezekwesili has officially declared her intention to run in the 2019 presidential election.
Ezekwesili who made the announcement on Sunday revealed she will be running under new political party, Allied Congress Progressives Party (ACPN). The party will be campaigning on social media with the hashtag, #HOPE2019.
She wrote on Twitter, “Let the old order politicians of the #APCPDP be thereby put on notice that us citizens did not come here to play. We are in it to win it, for 2019.”
Earlier today, Former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar emerges PDP presidential candidate while President Muhammadu Buhari has been nominated to run for the ruling APC.
