OAP Toke Makinwa is every blogger’s dream because everything move she makes becomes news. In January 2018, she claimed she was assaulted and humiliated by a bodyguard to British actor of Nigerian decent, John Boyega.
In April, the OAP revealed her struggle with fibroid which she battled the tumor for 7 years.
In her words: Trust me I have been to Mountian of Fire, been through ever church service, taken all the communions and done all the fasting and prayer. It just didn’t get better.
Around August, the OAP had fans wondering how her physique suddenly changed from normal to curvy and bootilicious. Her Instagram page at that time was flooded with pictures showing her flaunting her curves and bum. This had many concluding that she had done cosmetic surgery, an allegation she is yet to address.
In the same August, perhaps after acquiring a perfect body, Toke Makinwa went nude for the campaign of her brand Glow by TM. A month later, people started noticing something awkward about her hips. This was when she hosted the Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria, MBGN 2018, alongside IK Osakioduwa.
Few weeks after the controversy concerning her awkward hips died down, the next news involving her had to do with her ex, Seyi Kuye and his wife Yinka welcoming a baby boy. The baby was born just four months after the couple got wedded.
The OAP sparked a Twitter debate when she rubbished long term relationship as a waste of time. This she did by using the case of US singer and model, Cassie and Diddy, who parted ways after 10 years together. She went on to advice Cassie to go find herself a Russian billionaire who will keep her laced in Gucci and expensive things. She was however made to realize that dating or marrying a billionaire is not always the key to happiness when former beauty queen, Dabota Lawson, revealed that she regrets getting married to a billionaire in 2014.
Well, Toke Makinwa ended the year 2018 well with a stunning 34th birthday in November. She started marking the day with sexy bikini pictures which broke the internet as several celebrities reposted them on Instagram.
She later threw a star-studded poolside Birthday party. The Nigerian Celebrities seen in attendance include BBNaija’s host, Ebuka Uchendu, 2face Idii and Annie his wife, Tania Omotayo, Seyi Law and a host of others.
