Chinonso Arubayi , the young wife of Nigerian gospel artiste, Eric Arubayi who died on February 11th 2017 from complications arising from taking fake anti-malaria drugs has recounted that she felt betrayed by God after his death which happened three years after their wedding.
In an interview with TVC this morning January 2nd, Chinonso, his wife and mother of his son, said:
My husband & I lived a faith based life. When he died, I lived in denial because I felt betrayed by God that my husband, a Gospel artiste, could die. I fell into depression, shaved my hair & wouldn’t accept inspirational messages from well wishers” she said
Chinonso also spoke on why she had to quickly pick up herself and forge on with life
”In order to pay my own bills, cater for my son and convince people to allow me make them up, I had to start looking good again. From there, I started my make up line and media hustle” she said
