One of Nigeria’s most controversial entertainers, Charles Oputa a.k.a Charly Boy, best known for his alternative lifestyle, political views, finally laid his mother, Margaret Oputa to rest yesterday. December 30, 2019
The self acclaimed area father shared pjhotos from the burial ceremony on his Instagram page, and wrote;
Some people dey think say for the happiness dem want dey must roam.
That for smiles that are the brightest they must wander far from home.
Some even think say the strange friend is the true friend, and they travel far astray. Hummmm. See how some of us waste our lives in striving for a joy that’s far away, The gladdest families are those that stick together to face their challenges as a team.Thank God for Family
It may be recalled that Mrs Margaret Ntianu Oputa died on Tuesday, 8th of October, 2019 at the age of 101.
Charly Boy has in a statement praised his late mother saying ‘My Dearest Mother, The world changes from year to year, our lives from day to day, but the love and memory of you, shall never pass away. I trust you’re Happy now. Tell Papa I galant die.’
