42 year old Nollywood actress, serial business woman and single mum of two, Iyabo Ojo on Thursday, August 27 got a surprise visit and gifts from singer Korede Bello.
Kemi Filani News reports that Iyabo Ojo excitedly shared the video on Instagram on Friday morning as she gushed over the gifts – a photo frame which contained words dedicated to her and a sound system for moving to her new residence said to be in Lekki area of Lagos.
Expressing her gratitude, Iyabo hugged Mavin records signee, Korede Bello excitedly and prayed for the singer who is believed to be romantically involved with Priscilla, the actress’ daughter.
Iyabo described Korede’s visit as her best surprise ever.
“See who came to surprise me today Korede Bello I was super excited to see him. Best surprise ever, plus all my gifts that came along with you,” she captioned her Instagram post.
Fans immediately stormed the comment section of the post with remarks on how Korede Bello has started to perform his duty as a son-in-law.
Kemi Filani News recalls that since Korede Bello featured Iyabo’s daughter Priscilla on the video for his 2019 song, ‘Mr Vendor’, there have been rumours of a romantic relationship between them.
As a matter of fact, in an interview with Punch Newspapers in February, he addressed the romance rumours by saying Priscilla would be in a better position to give details on their relationship.
“As for my rumoured relationship with Priscilla, she would be in a better position to respond to that (laughs).
Wedding bells are always sounding every Saturday. Perhaps, you have not been paying attention. I even try to put bells in my songs because my name is Bello. If you listen closely to the song, ‘Sun mo Mi’, you would hear wedding bells and hints of a potential wedding.
As for the qualities I would like in my dream woman, the only quality that truly matters is a strong connection. A connection with God, herself and with me. Every other thing doesn’t really matter. Besides, a dream woman will always be a dream. I want a real woman.” he said.
