Toke Makinwa, a Nigerian radio personality, television host, vlogger, lifestyle entrepreneur, and author has expressed her thoughts on daughters and fathers relationship.
The quite outspoken OAP through her Twitter handle stated that men would enjoy dating girls who are ‘Daddy’s Girls’
She wrote: “If a girls first introduction to love is from her dad, chances of “daddy issues” are slimmer, her emotional well-being and mental stability is 💯. Imagine a guy trying to wash you when all you’ve heard all your life from your father is you are awesome. Zero chance”.
Adding, “DAD, a girls first love. If you still have your dad around and in your life, cherish it, it is a blessing. If you don’t, it’s all good, God is the father to the fatherless.’
Toke Makinwa whose marriage to Maje Ayida crashed few years ago said a prayer for her unborn daughter; ‘I hope my daughter lucky enough to experience the love of a dotting father, I hope they have a healthy relationship, I’ll love my daughter’s first date to be her dad.”
