The Nigerian police force has taken to their official twitter handle to advice parents and guardians to warn their children to stay away from violence.
According to the tweet, the police force claim to be doing all they can to ensure that the ongoing nationwide peaceful #EndSars protest is under control and to make sure innocent lives are protected.
They have however urged parents to tell their children/wards to desist from acts of violence under no circumstances.
“The Force is calling on parents/guardians to prevail on their children/wards to desist from acts of violence under any guise whatsoever. The Force is doing everything possible at the moment to bring the situation under control, protect lives of innocent citizens and prevent further attacks on any other critical infrastructure in the state.” the tweet reads.
