Have you seen Comedian Princess’ Body Bag movie yet?
The much talked about movie was released in December and Princess interestingly told the story of her marriage crash in it.
When Gospel singer Kefee died in 2014, it was reported that she died of lung failure in the US.
“It is with a great sadness but grateful hearts that we announce the passing to glory due to lungs failure this morning of our God’s mouth piece, chorus leader, daughter, wife, sister, friend Kefee Branama Queen,” Kefee’s UK Manager, Adeline Adelicious Adebayo, confirmed in 2014.
Well, Comedian Princess in her new movie, Body Bag has disclosed Kefee died from wounds from the domestic violence she suffered from her first marriage.
Kefee was married twice. She was married to Alec Godwin for three years until 2008. She married radio host Teddy Esosa Don-Momoh on 3 March 2013 in Sapele, Delta state.
In the ‘Body Bag’ movie, fast rising actress, Bukunmi Oluwashina played a role that depicted the true story of Kefee and how she died and just before the movie started, Comedian Princess paid a tribute to the late Kefee.
The Body Bag movie is a star studded movie that chronicles challenges especially domestic violebce in marriage. It is an eye opener that mirrors on present challenges of mental, psychological and emotional abuse in most relationship and marriages today.
The movie features Princess Damilola, Ronke Odunsaya, Ibrahim Chatta, Bimpe Oyebade, Laide Bakare, Bukunmi Oluwasina, Bolanle Ninalowo and a host of others.
To be honest, Comedian Princess did a fine job with Body Bag from the cast to the acting, sound and more; our favorite character was Ibrahim Chatta, he bravely interpreted his role as Princess Comedian’s razz local and abusive husband.
The movie however had some irrelevant scenes like the scenes of Laide Bakare and her husband. Also, we think Mide Martins would have interpreted Kemi’s role as an abusive wife more than how fast rising actress Bimpe Oyeabde did.
There are so many lessons on marriage in Body Bag and then, the ending was quite emotional!
