Nigerians have taken to social media to plead for mercy and forgiveness from actress Tonto Dikeh.
This is coming after her former husband, Olakunle Churchill opened up about his romance with her former best friend, Rosy Meurer.
Kemi Filani News recalls that Rosy Meurer and Tonto Dikeh used to be best of friends before she (Tonto) married Churchill in 2015.
Not long after she married him, Tonto Dikeh began to experience crisis in her marriage, most of which she attributed to the interference of her dear friend, Rosy Meurer in the union.
The mother of one had on many occasions called out the younger actress for sleeping with her then husband and even alleged he bought her expensive gifts on her birthday, an allegation Rosy Meurer strongly denied.
The world was made to believe Tonto Dikeh was probably out of her mind.
Things fell apart and the center could no longer hold as the two former besties parted ways, but news continued to make the rounds that Rosy Meurer was having an affair with Churchill, an allegation she denied every time it came up.
Stories however changed yesterday when Olakunle Churchill referred to Rosy Meurer as Mrs Churchill in his birthday message to her, a confirmation to Tonto Dikeh’s allegation.
In his birthday post he wrote:
“A special sunrise, on this precious day, a great woman was born. During my hard times when depression would have taken the better part of me, you were my bedrock. When it was like the whole world was against me, you stood by me, even took some missiles because of me.
When I thought I lost it all, you encouraged me to hope on God that he will give me back all I have lost. Happy birthday Mrs Churchill. Age with grace, I have got your back 247 by the special grace of God.”
Coming after they opened up about their marriage, Nigerians who branded Tonto Dikeh a drama queen for dragging her husband and former bestie have apologised.
One Ikeme Amara took to the comment section of Tonto Dikeh’s post and wrote; “Thought you were a drama queen😩 forgive me mama.
You’re loved ❤️”
One Ogochukwu duruoha wrote; “God has vindicated you”
Victoria Abia wrote; “Stay strong God has vindicated you”
Ade Oluwa wrote; “TONTO TONTO your mother is behind your back. I thank God for your life. You are blessed beyond human imagination”
