Honourable Opeyemi Flagen, the boyfriend to Nollywood actress Nkechi Blessing writes to her following her suspension from the movie industry.
As earlier reported by Kemifilani, the national body of Theatre Arts and Motion Pictures Practitioners Association of Nigeria suspended Nollywood actors Nkechi Blessing and Kehinde Adams, popularly known as Lege Miami.
Both actors have been in a war of words on social media over the arrest of their colleague, Baba Ijesha, who has been accused of rape and sexual defilements of a minor.
The statement issued by the TAMPAN chairman Damilola Olatunji disclosed that the association could no longer accept the unruly acts and exchange of words from the Nollywood stars as it’s disrespectful to the association’s image and profession.
The statement forbids movie director from the TAMPAN association from engaging the services of the Nollywood stars as anyone who engages them will be subject to punitive measure.
Reacting in a post shared on Instagram, Opeyemi advises Nkechi Blessing to always believe in herself, speak up and never allow anyone to silences her opinion on any issue.
He added that Nkechi Blessing should continue to stand up for what is right, and even if she falls seven times, she would surely stand at the eight-time.
Responding to the post, Nkechi Blessing expresses love for her boyfriend, saying such words are the only support she needs at the moment.
