Nollywood actor Yomi Fabiyi has reacted to the civil suit against him filed by his colleague Iyabo Ojo over the defamatory statement made regarding the ongoing rape case of Baba Ijesha.
Kemifilani had earlier reported that Yomi Fabiyi on Wednesday stormed the Panti police station demanding the release of Baba Ijesha over illegal detention.
The actor also alleged that his colleagues, Iyabo Ojo and Princess Damilola Adekoya, had also promised the kill Baba Ijesha if granted bail.
Reacting to this, Iyabo Ojo, through her Lawyer, writes to Yomi Fabiyi demanding the retraction of his defamatory statement, a public apology and one hundred million Naira damages or face further legal actions.
Responding to Iyabo Ojo, Yomi Fabiyi is a post shared on his Instagram page urged his fans and followers to ignore the civil suit attached to his name as he does not have any time to waste.
Yomi Fabiyi further made a mockery of Iyabo Ojo, urging her to save her money for more TikTok video, which she is known for, instead of wasting her money on the unnecessary suit.
Yomi Fabiyi wrote: Ignore any unnecessary CIVIL SUITS attached to my name, I don’t dignify everybody with a response. Not even a non-criminal suit that lack merits and grounds. I don’t have time to waste walai. Your lawyer will never tell you how many months, funds and process involve in civil suits.
Anyway, anybody drowning will cling on anything to survive. Save your money for feed and tiktok costumes, don’t let any lawyer eat your money iyawo mi. You deserve better dear, time still dey to make a detour and save your face. I don’t deal in social media court. Enjoy the funny moments.
