Seun Kuti, the son of Nigerian Afro-beat singer Fela Kuti, has rubbished the Grammy recognition of Wizkid even after receiving his Grammy Plaque on Wednesday.
A few weeks ago, Seun Kuti claimed that Wizkid does not deserve to be called a Grammy nominee and should stop parading himself as one.
In a post shared on his Instagram story, Seun Kuti reiterates his words that there are only four musicians in Nigerian whose music has been nominated for Grammy.
According to Seun Album is not music however, Wizkid will someday make a music that will be recognized by Grammy. He wrote:
There are only 4 musicians in Nigeria whose music has been norminated for the Grammys. If that annoys you its not my fault. Album no be music video. Your favourite will also one day by the ancestor’s grace make music that will be recognized. I am dedicating today to you children. Today is the day for the ignorant. I told you.
