Nigerian record producer Michael Collins Ajereh, known professionally as Don Jazzy, has expressed worries over established singer such as Davido, Wizkid, Mayorkun and many others.
In a post shared on the microblogging platform, Twitter Don Jazzy applauds some new young artists saying their quality of music is commendable.
However, Don Jazzy said he’s scared that with the quality of music being churned out, some of these young artists might outrun some of the established singers who might decide to be Lazy.
He wrote: The quality of music that these young new artists are making ehnnn. I listen to them and I’m scared for any established artist that decodes to be Lazy.
Kemifilani News recalls that Don Jazzy recently declared sensational singer, Wizkid the artist of the decade.
This comes after popular Instagram user Odesope Olajide asked the public to nominate their African Artist of the decade if Billboard was to give such an award.
Olajide wrote; “Since Billboards awarded Drake the artist of the decade, who will you give that accolade to in African pop culture…”
Taking to the comment section to give his answer, Don Jazzy wrote; “Wiz”
