Media personality Shade Ladipo has come under heavy criticism for over a statement to Nollywood actress Tonto Dikeh following her relationship with a Delta State politician, Prince Kpokpogri.
In a post shared on her Instagram story, Shade Ladipo said Tonto Dikeh’s attitude of seeking online validation for her relationship means she hasn’t learnt from her previous relationship mishap with ex-husband Olakunle Churchill.
Kemifilani News recalls that Tonto Dikeh took to her social media page to pen down a lovely epistle for her politician boyfriend on his birthday, which generated several reactions on social media.
Although Tonto Dikeh did not share photos of her boyfriend, an aide to the Delta State Governor unveiled Prince Kpokpogri as Tonto’s new man.
Reacting Shade Ladipo said, although she loves Tonto Dikeh and understands she’s very expressive, however, it’s important to keep her relationship off social media.
She wrote: I really like Tonto but ladies and gents this constant seeking of validation online means that truly you haven’t learnt from your previous relationship mishaps. I understand you’re expressive and wear your heart on your sleeve but for God’s sake keep your relationship away from social media. You are just food and we are carnivores. All we want is entertainment. The minute you find true and real happiness you become less concerned about showing others how happy or rich you are. You are entertainment, your life is entertainment.
This did not go well with many Nigerians as they blast her to shut her mouth, adding she always has an opinion about people.
Many people also defended Tonto Dikeh, saying she has been discreet with the relationship for over two years and wasn’t even the one who shared the photos online.
