Nollywood veteran actress, Joke Silva has penned down a tribute to her husband, Olu Jacobs on his 79th birthday today, 11th of July.
According to Joke, her husband, Olu Jacobs 79th birthday is a celebration galore for her and it has given her so much joy in her heart.
She however proceeded to pray for the actor by asking God to grant him longer life.
In her words;
“Celebration galore….Joy joy joy with joy my heart is ringing Joy Joy Joy is love for us is known….HAPPY BIRTHDAY, Sir J _olujacobs …. Here is to Good Health, a sound mind, abundance and longer life.”
For those that do not know, Olu Jacobs met his wife Joke Silvia at the casting of Wole Soyinkas “Jeros Metamorphosis”. The Lagos National Theatre brought these two young people together and they have been that way for decades. Olu Jacobs wife is also a famous actress who changed the course of history for the Nigerian Arts industry.
The famous Nigerian couple has two sons.
Olu Jacobs and Joke Silvia children rarely appeared to the public. According to the reports, Olu Jacobs sons studied in Great Britain. They also did not show any sign of going into a career in acting. Joke and Olu Jacobs founded and operate the Lufodo Group, a media corporation that consists of film production, distribution assets and the Lufodo Academy of Performing Arts. Joke Silva is Director of Studies at the latter. Joke Silva is also the pioneer managing director of Malete Film Village, in association with Kwara State University.
