Abba Kyari‘s Biography
He was born on the 17th of March 1975 in Borno state. His Father and his step-mother raised Kyari after his mother left his father when he was 7. He has 12 siblings. Kyari had a tough upbringing and had to work as a biker rider and fuel seller to make earns meet.
Education
He had his primary and secondary school education in Borno, after which he bagged a degree in Geography from the University of Maiduguri. He had his NYSC programme in Akwa Ibom state.
Career
According to the report, Abba Kyari always dream of becoming a pilot or a police but since it was expensive to be a trained pilot, he opted to become a policeman.
He would join the Police Academy in Wudil, Kano State in 2001 and graduated as a cadet Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP).
After his graduation, he was sent to the Adamawa State Police Command for a one-year required attachment in the Song Police Division.
During his career, he was a Divisional Crime Officer (DCO) in Numan, Adamawa State, also as Unit Commander 14 PMF Yola.
Kyari was soon promoted to 2 IC and then Officer-in-Charge of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad at the Lagos State Police Command (SARS).
Before his suspension, he was the current head of the Nigerian Police Force’s Intelligence Response Team IRT located in Abuja.
Marriage
Abba Kayri is married to Mrs Kyari, and their union is blessed with four children; three girls and one boy.

It all started after the US in July 2021 revealed that international fraudster, Hushpuppi bribed Kyari to help jail a fellow fraud member in Nigeria identified as Vincent after they had issues over a $1.1 million scam.
Kyari would take to his social media account to debunk the report, however, the US court document showed that he was an accomplice to Hushpuppi’s crimes and also visited the fraudster in Dubai.
The super cop would take to social media to say he never sought money from Hushpuppi and that his hands are clean.
While he claimed he was not aware of the money related argument between Hushpuppi and Vincent, the DCP revealed that Vincent was arrested but was never imprisoned. He said that Vincent has also been released.
Abba Kyari has since been suspended as Nigerians await what would be his fate.
