Nollywood actress Anita Joseph has reacted to the leaked divorce document filed by Anita Okoye, wife of Nigerian musician, Paul Okoye popularly known as Rudeboy.
A divorce document making the rounds on social media revealed the seven years old marriage of the couple crashed over irreconcilable differences.
Several reactions have continued to trail the news, with some people attributing the failed marriage to their elder brother Jude Okoye.
While reacting to the news on a blog, Anita Joseph expressed shock. She wrote: Oh no!
In another post on her Instagram page, Anita Joseph prayed for her fans that their marriage would last.
She wrote: If you’re Reading this “YOUR MARRIAGE WILL WORK iN JESUS NAME AMEN
Kemi Filani News reported that a source close to the couple indicated that both parties will proceed amicably with the legal resolution and be the best co-parents in the interest of their children.
The source also said that Paul and Anita have always been very good friends and like every couple, they have had issues for a while but plan to remain on good terms and keep the friendship they have always had since their days as university students.
Word has it that Paul Okoye is currently on a press tour and Anita has moved to the United States where she is working on her master’s degree as a graduate student.
The divorce filings bring an impending end to one of Nigeria’s most admired celebrity unions.
