Nollywood actor, Jide Awobona has taken to social media to express his displeasure with the educational structures in the country.
According to him, the educational system has been messed up already, the reason being that youths are not willing to show the zeal to try harder, they back off and settle for less immediately they are being failed.
Jide added that nothing should stop one from writing an exam multiple times in order to achieve a dream, stating that it is only in Nigeria a child aspiring to be a medical doctor ends up studying Yoruba in the University.
Speaking further, he urged Nigerians to work on educational structures and stop shattering dreams that are meant to uplift the nation.
He wrote:
It’s only in my country that a child who is always craving and aspiring to be a Medical Doctor ends up studying Yoruba in the Ivory Tower
Let’s work on our structures and stop shattering dreams.
What stops one writing an exam multiple times within the space of I year to achieve a dream…..
