Nollywood actress Debbie Shokoya has revealed that her love for acting and watching Nigerian movies did not start today; it is dated way back from when she was young.
In a video with her mum, Debbie Shokoya’s mum recounted her various trips to video clubs in the Ejigbo axis of Lagos because of her love for movies and how she would starve herself to achieve it.
The actress said her mum has always been supportive when she developed an interest in acting and the numerous times she collected money from her to watch movies. But, adding that her dad and siblings were against her passion for acting then.
Speaking further, she thanked God for the beautiful memories of yesterday.
