Her real name is Rosemond Brown, and she was born on the 1st of June 1989 in Suhum, in the Eastern Region of Ghana to her mother named Maa Lydia Amponsah, aka Stone Lady; there are, however, no details of who her father is.
Akuapem Poloo had a tough upbringing as she sold a popular Ghanaian snack called ‘Poloo’ to sustain at the age of nine, it soon became part of her daily routine, and that was how she got her nickname ‘Akuapem Poloo.
Rosemond grew up with her grandfather and was not privileged of being parented by both parents. She is a Togolese Ghanian and celebrated her 31st birthday in June 2021.
