Nigerian popular disc jockey DJ Neptune has been called out by Mavin record label Rema in a series of tweets that are currently trending on popular micro-blog Twitter.
This comes after Rema took to his Twitter handle in the early hours of Friday to call out DJ Neptune after the latter released a song on which the Mavin youngster was featured.
Rema, in his tweet, said DJ Neptune didn’t follow due process and violated the codes; he went on to tell the popular DJ to take down the song.
Since Rema posted the tweet, Nigerian music lovers have taken to the platform to react.

DJ Neptune’s biography
His real name is Imohiosen Patrick, and he was born on the 25th of September 1990 in Lagos state to Mr and Mrs Imohiosen, who were from Edo State.
DJ Neptune is the last child and only male of his parents, the record revealed his father wanted him to be an engineer, but he instead pursued a career in music.
Patrick is a Nigerian by birth and celebrated his 31st birthday in September 2021.
Education
DJ Neptune had his primary and secondary school education in Lagos state and has a BSc degree in Mass Communication from the University of Lagos Akoka.
Career
DJ Neptune had shown interest to become a Disc Jockey when he was ten years old, and he began by entertaining his friends and family.
To make it as a professional DJ, Neptune learned from an experienced DJ, Douglas, and became a professional DJ in 2001.
DJ Neptune gained prominence when he was working as the official DJ of popular radio station Ray Power 100.5 between 2004 and 2010.
Nigerian rapper and singer, Naeto C would later make DJ Neptune his official DJ, and that was how he gained popularity in the entertainment industry.
