Elijah Blue Allman is a popular American guitarist, musician and painter who, despite having legendary musicians as parents, has been able to forge his path.
For those who don’t know, Elijah is the son of pop icon Cher and rock band founder Gregg Allman. He is also the only child of his mother, who chose to follow her path in the music industry.

His parents had a significant influence on him because he was already exposed to music as a child owing to the numerous house parties his parent organised. However, he didn’t take it seriously until he got his first guitar as a gift from Gene Simmons, a bassist of the band KISS.

Despite his mother’s disapproval, Elijah married his wife Mariangela ‘Angie’ King, an artist who goes by the stage name Queenie, on December 1, 2003. The report revealed that the two eloped to get married without Elijah’s mother in attendance.
Cher didn’t acknowledge or congratulate them on further proving her disapproval of the wedding. She also didn’t invite them to her family’s Christmas celebration.
This made Elijah reveal via his social media handle that it was not the first time he had disagreed with his mother. He said she never approved of him forming his band, and they didn’t talk long after he started it.
