Nigerian veteran comedian, Godwin Komone widely known as Gordons, was in the news over the weekend after he took to his Instagram handle to congratulate his mother after she got married at the age of 72.
Gordons shared a photo he took with his mum as he stressed that true love still existed.
The photo has since, however, gone viral on and off social media; while some Nigerians congratulated Gordons and his mother, others were, however, sceptical about the marriage.
Gordons is known for his hardcore kind of comedy and his colleagues with the likes of Basket Mouth, AY Comedian, among others. He is an A-rated comedian in Nigerian and considered one of the very best.

Godwin Komone’s Biography
Comedian Gordons real name is Godwin Komone, and he was born on the 4th of April 1971 in Warri, Delta state; there is no detail of his parents were, but he is their first child.
Gordons in an interview revealed his parents are separated with each of them married to another man and woman respectively.
According to the comedian in one of his interview, he revealed his parents never wanted him as a child because he was born with seven teeth.
Gordons is a Nigerian by birth, Urhobo by tribe and he celebrated his 52nd birthday in April 2021.
Education
Gordons is educated, and this has been helpful in his comedic career. The records revealed he was a pupil at the Ighogbadu Primary School, Delta state, after which he proceeded to Nana College, Delta state and later gained admission to the Delta State University, where he graduated with a degree in integrated science.
Gordons had realised his potential to make comedy when he was in the tertiary institution; however, because he was focused on bagging a degree, he didn’t venture into the industry until after school.
The veteran started comedy in 1992, but his breakthrough didn’t come until 2005; however, since then, he has performed comedy in prominent Nigerian figures.
Gordons, in an interview, revealed that if he had not become a comedian, he would have become a pastor; he is known for his Comedy Clinic Series, which was consistent for five years straight.
