Hushpuppi’s biography
His real name is Ramon Olorunwa Abbas and he was born on the 11th of October 1982 in the Ikorodu area of Lagos state to Mr and Mrs Abass; the record revealed that his father is a cab driver.
There are no details on whether Hushpuppi has any siblings, but he is a Nigerian by birth and celebrated his 39th birthday in October 2021.

Hushpuppi was arrested in June 2020 in his apartment in Dubai. The report revealed that Hushpuppi was arrested in an operation code-named Fox Hunt 2, and he was arrested alongside eleven others.
The report revealed that security detectives seized more than 150 million dirham which is about $40 million in cash, 13 luxury cars worth Dh 25 million ($7M), 21 laptops, 47 smartphones, 15 memory storage devices, 5 external hard drives and 800,000 emails of potential victims alongside suitcases full of cash during Hushpuppi’s arrest.
It was revealed that Hushpuppi’s arrest was part of an FBI investigation which indicted him as a ‘key player’ in a transnational cybercrime network.
Upon his arrest, Hushpuppi was extradited to the US where he is to date.
