Mallam Ballama Manu and Mrs. Oluwatoyin Odutayo have been appointed as Independent Non-Executive Directors by the Board of PZ Cussons Nigeria Plc.
According to a statement signed by Jacqueline Ezeokwelume, the Company Secretary/Legal Adviser, the appointments became effective on November 21, 2022.

Mallam Ballama Manu’s Profile
At Ahmadu Bello University Zaria, Mallam Manu received a first-class (honours) accounting degree. The London School of Economics and Political Science also awarded him an MSc in Accounting and Finance.
He was formerly the Acting President of the Nigerian Stock Exchange and Executive Chairman of the Federal Inland Revenue Service (now Nigerian Exchange Group Plc).
Ballama Manu has held positions on the boards of both Nigeria Deposit Insurance Corporation and Union Bank Plc. He currently serves as Sicom Capital Services Limited’s chairman and chief executive officer.
Mrs. Oluwatoyin Odutayo’s profile
According to the PZ Cussons statement, Mrs. Odutayo is a strategic and visionary leader in technology with more than 30 years of in-depth experience in technology strategy and digital transformation.
She established Benchmark IT Services and Applications Limited and serves as the business’s managing partner at the moment. She previously worked as the Executive Director in charge of Technology for Wakanow Limited, where she contributed to the creation of Nigeria’s leading technology platform for travel sales.
She developed and put into action IT strategies for expansion and efficiency while serving as the information technology lead at Virgin Nigeria Limited and Oando Plc.
Mrs. Odutayo has degrees in business administration from the Cranfield School of Management, information systems engineering with distinction from London South Bank University, and computer science with honours from the University of Lagos.
