Her real name is Deborah Oluwaseyi Joshua, and she was born on the 21st of December 1985 in the UK. The reports revealed her mother was from the northern part of Nigeria while her father was from Ife in Osun state.
Seyi Shay grew up with three elder siblings; two sisters and one brother. The reports revealed that one of her sisters used to compose songs for BBC while her brother is a popular DJ in London.
After she turned two years old, Seyi Shay moved to Nigeria. She is a Nigerian British citizen and will celebrate her 36th birthday on the 21st of December 2021.
