Tchidi Chikere was born on the 10th of October 1975 in Lagos state, there are no details of who his parents are but he is the last child.
Chikere is from Imo state and is a Nigerian by birth; he celebrated his 46th birthday in October 2021.
Education
The records revealed Tchidi Chikere had his primary and secondary school education in Lagos state but he gained admission to study English Language at the University of Calabar.
Career
During his time at Unical, Tchidi Chikere started writing movie scripts and was a member of a three-man music group.
After he completed his National Youth Service, Tchidi Chikere moved to the UK, where he published his first book. He would later return to Nigerian to join the movie industry.
As a singer, Tchidi Chikere has worked with the likes of Marvellous Benji, OJB Jezreel and Pat Attah.
He is considered one of the creative writers in the movie industry and has directed over 60 movies; one of the most popular movies he has produced is titled “Stronger Than Pain”, with the likes of Kate Henshaw and Emeka Ike appearing in the movie. The movie was so good it won him an award for best creative director at the African Movie Academy Awards.

Tchidi Chikere has been married twice. He was previously married to Sophia Tchidi Chikere, an actress. The union, however, ended in 2012 and was blessed with three sons.
In March 2014, Tchidi Chikere exchanged marital vows with actress Nuella Njubigbo in Anambra State while the white wedding was held at the Catholic Church of Transfiguration, VGC, Lagos State in June of that same year; their union is blessed with a girl named Ada.
