Nigerian singer and philanthropist, Innocent Idibia better known as 2face or 2baba is demanding Nigerians hold all public officers accountable for the failure of the country.
The singer stated that the president alone shouldn’t be at the centre of all issues as senators, governors, house of reps and many others including traditional rulers needs to be held accountable.
He added that the citizens also have a role to play by shunning any vices.
In his words, “No he only president. Hold your governor, your senator, house of reps, police commissioners, lawyers and judges, local government, chairman, traditional rulers. Make them dey show wetin dem dey do. Then even us, citizens. Make we try dey behave ourselves. For example, to follow one way na crime”.
Kemi Filani news recalls 2face Idibia had blasted the current administration led by President Muhammadu Buhari for poor performance.
In a post shared on his Instagram story, 2face said that since Buhari is responsible for the whole problem in Nigeria, everyone in public office should resign, from the governors to the local government chairmen.
2face said it was necessary they resign since they do not have anything to contribute to the country’s growth because the current administration’s shamelessness is beyond comprehension.
