Nigerian music icon Innocent Idibia, better known as 2face or 2baba, has finally taken his fiancee, Natasha, to meet his family in Idoma.
Kemi Filani reported on Monday that the father of seven had introduced his soon-to-be wife to the Idoma traditional leaders/king in Benue, where he comes from. The couple got blessings from the palace to the community.
Now, an adorable video from the ceremony is making rounds online. In the clip, Natasha is captured rocking Idoma attire as she gets serenaded by Idoma people.
Elsewhere in the clip, 2face is captured walking into the ceremony venue as he makes money rain on the dancers.
Reports are circulating that the couple is set to wed traditionally today, Friday, April 25th, 2025, in Benin City. Blogger Stella Dimoko Korkus claimed that all had been set and that the right moves had been made to consolidate the relationship between the lovebirds.
Recall that following his crashed marriage to his wife of over a decade, 2face moved on from her with Edo State lawmaker, Natasha Osawaru, the granddaughter of the Esama of Benin, Chief Igbinedion. On his Instagram page, 2face confirmed his relationship with Natasha, revealing that he loves Natasha and wants to marry her. 2baba made it known that she had nothing to do with the breakdown of his marriage to Annie and claimed that he and Annie have an understanding.
To prove his love and commitment to her, 2face has engaged the politician. A video of him proposing to her made rounds online, which she gladly accepted. The singer stated that their love will survive.
The lovebirds even visited the Esama of Benin, Chief Gabriel Osawaru. According to reports, the couple is already preparing for their wedding.
Natasha had even taken many surprise by adding 2face’s surname, Idibia hers. The Edochie lawmaker made an update to her Instagram bio by adding his name to hers.
