Cynthia said that she met her husband on Twitter during a question and answer session with her social media followers when a fan asked.

According to Simi, Adekunle Gold “chased me all over Facebook” before they eventually met.
The singer said they met for the first time in 2013 at Bogobiri House, Ikoyi, where she had gone to perform.
“He was chasing me all over Facebook. When I was doing gospel music, he used to listen to my songs.
“The first time I ever saw him, I was supposed to do a show at Bogobiri and he came for the show. That was the first time I ever met him.
“Over the years, we were friends at first. When I first met him, I knew him as the king of photoshop. I didn’t know he was doing music seriously.”
