The feud ignited when Solomon Buchi shared his thoughts on a Twitter user’s expression of frustration regarding women crafting their content around relationships and men in 2023.
The initial tweet that sparked this controversy came from a user expressing her tiredness at women focusing their content on having or finding a man. Solomon Buchi, in response, defended women’s autonomy, emphasizing that feminism is about allowing individuals to make their own choices. He revealed that if a woman wants to center her content around a man, she should have the freedom to do so.
However, things took a new turn when Ozzie Etomi, apparently taking issue with Solomon Buchi’s statement, threw shade on Twitter. She didn’t directly mention his name but insinuated that he consistently polices women’s actions, suggesting that his wife must be tired of him spending his time seeking viral tweets about women while she works hard to support the household. Given the context and the fact that Solomon Buchi often tweets about women, it was widely assumed that Ozzie’s remarks were aimed at him.
Solomon Buchi took some time to respond to Ozzie Etomi’s remarks, and when he did, it was with an unreserved counterattack.
He expressed that she was divorced and lonely status and accused her of attempting to drag others into a similar situation. He branded her an old, lonely, and sad feminist who failed to maintain her marriage and was now trying to disrupt the happiness of others. Solomon Buchi didn’t stop there; he resorted to age-shaming by stating that Ozzie is 40, while he is 28, happily married, and thriving, while she is divorced, old, and miserable.
