Nollywood actress, Jumoke Odetola has expressed gratitude after emerging winner as Nollywood actress of the year at City people awards.
Taking to her Instagram page to appreciate the organizers of the awards and her fans, Jumoke Odetola said that she dedicated the award to everyone that loves her like family.
Speaking further, the talented actress said the everyone who stood in as her bloodline are her family.
Sharing photos from the award ceremony, Jumoke wrote;
“CITY PEOPLE BEST ACTRESS OF THE YEAR- Yoruba Thank you, my family. Family isn’t just those related by blood, but everyone who stand in as bloodline… This award is dedicated to my sweet blood sisters and everyone who loves me as family”
KFN recalls that in the year 2020, Jumoke bagged the Nollywood Actress of the Year 2020 award by Cool Wealth awards.
Jumoke is known for her lead role in the Yoruba movie titled ‘Ife’, where she acted the role of a cheating girlfriend who kept torturing her man emotionally with lies.
Other awards bagged by the actress include 2016 AMVCA for best indigenous language film for her role in ‘Binta Ofege’ and ‘Somewhere In The Dark’.In 2017, she won the same award for her role in “Somewhere In The Dark”
