Nollywood actress Shan George has got more than she bargained for after criticizing those who misuse some words in English.
In a post shared on her Instagram story, Shan George said that she’s always afraid of those who use Am’ instead of ‘I’m and ‘been’ instead of being.
According to the actress, people who make such mistake has a problem with their sense of reasoning and can’t see reason where they should.
She wrote: I don’t know why, I just find myself being afraid of those who use Am, instead of I’m and been instead of being. I feel say them dey reason upside down and can’t see reason where they should.
The post generated reactions from social media users, with many people saying that the English Language is not the country’s problem and sometimes such mistakes are inevitable.

Kemi Filani News recalls Shan George tackled veteran actor Chinwetalu Agu for denying wearing a Biafra flag outfit which led to his arrest by the Nigerian soldiers in Onitsha Anambra State.
This comes after Chinwetalu Agu, in a new video that surfaced online, said he was wearing is a civil dress and not Biafran regalia or linked to Eastern Security Network.
Reacting to this, Shan George, in a comment shared on an Instagram blog, said Chinwetalu Agu is wearing a Biafra flag and should own it with his full chest.
However, Shan George condemned the arrest, stating that she sees nothing wrong in certain people fighting for their freedom, adding Nigeria fought for their independence from the British, including Scotland.
She added that the Biafra agitators are not carrying arms but fighting peacefully, and this should not be a crime or threat to anyone.
