Following the recent statements and rumours of her begging six months’ imprisonment, swirling around, Simi Gold has come on social media to debunk the news.
Taking to her Snapchat story, she wrote,
“Ignore whatever you see online. I am home and safe.”
Also, reacting to these rumours carried by blogs. She commented with a laughing blog on popular blog InstaBlog. She also went on to share a picture of herself eating amala and Ewedu soup.
Now recall that just a few minutes ago, Kemi Filani had reported that rumours had emerged that Simi Gold was facing an imprisonment sentence of six months.
This imprisonment sentence is based off an incident that occurred back in February of 2023. While attending an occasion, Simi Gold had sprayed bundles of 1,000 Naira notes on people, which went against the directive from the CBN governor to spray money.
She had been subsequently arraigned in February 13th of 2023 and released two days later.
