Actress Yetunde Akilapa caught stealing hair extensions at Lagos Shop…writes open letter

Two weeks back, we posted the story of a lady who bought goods close to N200k, paid with fake alert and also stole hair extensions worth three hundred thousand naira, at Bidex Hair shop on Toyin Street, Ikeja. After the video went viral, those who were able to identify the lady as actress Yetunde Akilapa, sent a message to the owner of the shop.

They compared the alleged thief in the video  with a picture of a lady who happened to be a Yoruba actress. The person who sent the message said, the actress is known to be a serial thief .

Just a few days later, the unexpected happened!

We cannot confirm whether or not those who knew her after seeing that video confronted her, but she packaged all that she stole in one piece, accompanied with a letter, and she dropped it at a vucalnizer’s shop near the shop she stole from.

In the letter, she claimed that what is happening to her is spiritual.

Those who are in the know revealed that she has been doing this for years and her case is not new in industry.

A similar incident involving the actress occurred three years ago.

Akilap, that time, broke into a beauty lounge in Yaba with a master key, after closing hours.

Earlier in February 2013, she was arrested for robbery by the police in Alade, in Somolu area of Lagos State.

She was sent to the Kirikiri prison and after a few months there, she regained her freedom, precisely in November, 2013.

Again on Sunday January 12, 2014, she was caught trying to break into a house in Magodo Phase II.
