It is the birthday of Nollywood actress, Yewande Adekoya Abiodun.
The Yoruba actress, who shares the same birth date as Tunde Ednut, has taken to social media to share stunning photos of herself.
Keeping it simple, Yewande captioned it with, “HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME”.
For her birthday last year, Yewande had expressed gratitude to her creator for the gift of life. She noted how her creator has blessed her in unimaginable ways.
“Happy birthday to me.. Lord i thank you for everything…You have blessed me in unimaginable ways. Oluwamodupe.. ANUNIMORIGBA”
In another post, the ‘Kudi Clepto’ crooner wrote;
“Oro mi tope, oju ope lo, Aanunimorigba… God i am super Grateful for your Grace over my life. I do not take your love for granted Baba. Happy birthday to me.”
Her colleagues had joined in marking her day as the likes of Iyabo Ojo, Mercy Aigbe and more had celebrated her.
Yewande Adekoya’s marriage crashes
Last year, Kemi Filani reported that the actress’s marriage of 8 years had crashed.
This was due to the infidelity on the part of her actor husband, Ishola Abiodun and continuous infliction of emotional abuse on the actress.
Confirming the report in a chat with Gist lover, the actress and mum of two, Yewande Adekoya explained her own part of the story and pleaded that she doesn’t want her husband dragged because she still loves him.
According to Yewande, her husband whom she truly loves, Ishola Abiodun has been emotionally abusing her for 14 years now by talking anyhow to her, not being there to her, and always involved with different women.
“For 14 years, I have been emotionally abused by him, he talks to me anyhow, i used to cry almost everyday when we were together, begging him to show me love, begging him to treat me right, to act responsibly, i was our financial backbone all through the years, but I never for once complained, I just wanted to grow up and act responsibly, honor our marriage.
