Following the death of actor Junior Pope yesterday, his colleague T.C. Okafor has continued to spill details of the happenings before the tragedy.
He revealed that Adanma Luke, the producer of the movie they had been shooting for “The Other Side of the World”, had asked the marine officers to arrest him.
According to T.C Okafor, she had revealed that the boat driver had stated that he had been the person to cause the accident and therefore should be arrested. He went on to debunk the allegation that he had contributed to the accident.
Now, also recall that Kemi Filani had reported earlier that he had revealed that during the boat ride, only two people that were on the boat wore life jackets. One of these two people was the director. He also further stated that at some point during the ride, he had poured in a bottle of Fanta into the river to appease the water goddess.
He disclosed how while doing it he had been questioned by Junior Pope on what he was doing, he revealed that he was trying to get to his destination safely and Junior Pope had agreed with him.
In the evening of 10th April 2024, Kemi Filani had reported that actor Junior Pope had died after an unfortunate drowning incident in Anam, Anambra state.
