Kemi Filani reported that Adebayo Salami, alongside Jide Kosoko and Patience Ozokwo, was honored with an Honorary Doctorate Degree in Theatre and Media Arts from Achievers Networks Academy, UK. This was to celebrate their illustrious careers and contributions to the entertainment industry.
On Saturday, the actors were conferred with the degree at the Aderinokun Lecture Theatre, University of Lagos, Akoka. The ceremony had in attendance lots of dignitaries, celebrities, and family and friends of the honoree. The likes of Laide Bakare, Yemi Solade, Yinka Quadri, Shola Kosoko, Bidemi Kosoko, Femi Adebayo, Mr. Latin, Rose Odika, Doyin Amodu, and more were in attendance.
A video captured online showed the beautiful moments his 4 wives, who were richly dressed entered the venue and sat together to support their husband.
In June, Adebayo Salami trended online as he showered his daughter s-in-law with prayers to celebrate the Eid Mubarak. A viral clip captured the moment Adebayo Salami was alighting from his care and welcomed by his daughters-in-law. The veteran superstar congratulated them on the Eid Mubarak celebrations and prayed that none of them would return to her father’s house and their husband would not take another woman to be wife.
