Highlife singer, Adekunle Gold has gifted his wife, Simi a bouquet, jewellery and a cake for valentine’s day.
The beautiful mother of one took to her Instagram stories to share the lovely gift from her husband while gushing about him. In one of the videos, Simi could be heard calling one of her husband’s names, Mofuf while thanking him. she also jokingly noted that she has never seen the type of cake he sent to her.
Simi sweetly celebrates Adekunle Gold on his birthday
Days back, Simi celebrated her husband Adekunle Gold as he turned a year older.
The beautiful songstress and mother of one took to her Instagram to share a lovely video of how the special day is going with her family. In the video shared, the celebrity couple shared a kiss, is also showed their daughter, Adejare devouring a bowl of plantain chips. Repeating after her mother, she chanted “I love you daddy, I love you so much”.
In her caption, Simi said she is deeply proud of her husband. She said he is still classic and incredible irrespective of how much time has passed. Reflecting on the future, Simi said she knows old age is not easy however, she will use cream to cover the wrinkles of her husband.
Showering prayers on him, she prayed that he will never lose his wonder and that life stays kind to him.
She wrote: “Sweet baby. I’m so deeply proud of you. Time passes and you’re still a classic, incredible man. I pray your joy is endless. I pray you never lose yourself, but instead, you continue to find all the best parts of yourself. I pray that life stays kind to you. I pray all your desires become your wins. I pray that you never lose your wonder. I know old age is not easy, but don’t worry; I will put cream on the wrinkles. Happy birthday hubby…and even though I can’t stand the word ‘hubby’, I love you Moruf.”
Adekunle Gold and Simi get new tattoos to celebrate their wedding anniversary
In celebration of their 4th wedding anniversary, Adekunle Gold and Simi joined the list of celebrities who go the extra mile to affirm their love with the use of tattoos.
Adekunle Gold fondly referred to now as ‘Tio Tequilla’ took to his Instagram stories to share a video of his hand and that of his wife while showing off the tattoo.
The ‘High’ crooner has a drawing of a flower in his hand while Simi’s tattoo comes with written words which read “this flower bloomed in April” with a little flowery drawing beside it.
Adekunle Gold and Simi recently celebrated their fourth wedding anniversary on 9th January 2019. They are blessed with a two-year-old daughter, Adejare Kosoko.
