Nollywood actor Alex Ekubo made his first red carpet debut with his beautiful mother at the AMVCA 10th edition award ceremony, which took place on May 11th at Eko Hotel and Suite, Lagos.
The light-skinned actor via his Instagram page shared a video of him and his mother stepping out for the event as he called her his Good luck charm. He stated that he brought his mother to one of the biggest nights of his career as she is his Good luck charm.
Expressing gratitude to her, he appreciated her for being his rock and biggest support and expressed his undying love for her.
“On the biggest night of my Career yet, I have my mum by my side, my Good luck charm. Thank you, mummy, for being my rock and my biggest support. I love you endlessly”.

A year back, Alex had shared a hilarious conversation with his mother, requesting a gist.
In the chat, Alex Ekubo’s mother had asked her son for an update on something they had earlier discussed, and the actor reacted, teasing his mom about her love for gossip. Alex Ekubo’s mom jokingly teased him that his head looked like his father’s, and Alex objected to giving his mother any gist until she apologised.
Months back, Alex shared a message on the importance of family as he shared photos of his parents. He stated that those whose parents are still alive don’t know what God has done for them, as he opined that family comes first as everything else is secondary. Alex described his family as his life jacket in the stormy sea of life.
In a previous post, he had left many drooling as he shared rare family photos. Captioning the photos, Alex shared a powerful message on the importance of family, stating that it remains the greatest gift known to man and admonished his fans to love theirs.
